Problem
A data center construction project needed a map-based information system to survey and analyze candidate sites, under the constraints of a closed network and an on-premise environment.
Key decisions
- 01Ran it as a joint development with researchers from Yeonwoo Technology, a construction BIM solutions company
- 02Built a spatial function server and DB with GeoServer and PostGIS, and a map platform on OpenLayers
- 03Resolved issues with migrating source to the closed network and setting up the on-premise environment
Outcome
Completed joint development as a B2B project and delivered the system.
