Problem
Clinical trial procedures are hard to learn before experiencing them firsthand, and existing training materials had their limits. Practicing in a 3D virtual simulation first could raise training quality while cutting cost and trial and error.
Key decisions
- 01Built clinical trial virtual simulation (VR) content in Unity, deployed it via WebGL and integrated it into the web app
- 02Developed the web app from MX Studio 3D web component output
- 03Designed a 3D render engine library and published it via private npm
Outcome
Commercialized and operated at cancer centers nationwide.
Joined as Tech Lead from the development division (a separate PM managed the project).
